They look delicious! I still haven't had a chance to make them yet... do you have any tips on making them so well?Btw, just wanted to let you know I nominated you for the Libester Blog Award :). See http://wp.me/p1AZAG-hZ
Thank you for the Libester Blog award nomination Amy! Your support over the years has meant a lot to me! This award really take it to the next level! Thank you!As for tips on making macarons, they are as follow:1) Process the almond meal and icing sugar together to get the same consistency (sifting is not necessary but is encouraged)2) Don't overbeat the egg whites 3) The batter must be folded until it reached a ribbon like stage 4) Let the macarons dry and form a skin on top before baking5) When baking have another tray under the one with macarons. This is to prevent over cooking the macaronsI hope this helps :) God bless you Amy!
Ah, I forgot to subscribe to this comment box so I never read your reply! Uni has just begun again so I don't know when I will be in the kitchen to give these a go, but I'm sure I'll be flipping back to this page when I try them :). And it 'twas my pleasure to nominate you! Keep up the great work :).Much love,Ames
